Rubus Lowberry® ‘Little Black Prince’®

Rubus Low. Little Black Prince’ is a black dwarf blackberry. It is a small blackberry and therefore it is also possible to grow it in a pot on the terrace or balcony. The bush has dark green, oval, serrated leaves. The fruits have a good aroma, taste sweet and fresh. Blackberries are green at first, then they turn red and finally they take on that beautiful dark purple-black colour. Blackberries can be picked over a long period, from July to October.

The branches from which you have picked the fruit can already be pruned; these branches will bear fruit again the following year. Leave the new branches alone, they will bear fruit later in the season. Regular pruning also prevents the spread of diseases.
