Description
The ‘Pennisetum ‘Summer Samba” should not be missing from your terrace. It is an ornamental grass with upright growth and narrow leaves that are reddish-green in colour. Whether used as a border plant or alone in a decorative pot, it provides a nice contrast to other flowering shrubs. This is due to its beautiful silver-purple fluffy plumes, which look just like brushes. This grass is Hardy; the decorative plumes remain, but the leaves fall off. It remains a beautiful plant to look at even in winter. After the winter, cut back to 10 cm above the ground. It prefers a warm place in the sun. Pennisetum’ is a strong plant but it is best to give it some extra water in the event of prolonged drought.
