Acorus gramineus ‘Ogon’ is a plant from Asia. It is a strong riparian plant with beautiful narrow line-shaped leaves and a yellow-green colour. The plant can flower from June to August with inconspicuous small green flowers, but this does not happen every year. Acorus’ prefers a spot in full sun or half-shadow and a moist to wet soil. It can be placed around the bank or just in the water. The plant is reasonably Hardy. A special feature of the plant is its aromatic fragrance and it attracts butterflies and bees. Did you know?
