‘Ribes Ribest Lisette’ is a red currant. The shrub grows vigorously and has a Rich fruit yield. The shiny red berries grow mainly on short, two-year-old branches. The berries grow in long bunches and have a sour, but fresh taste. You can eat them in flans, desserts or make jam. The shrub flowers in spring with small green-white flowers. The berries can be picked around July-August. Pruning influences the quantity and size of the berries and is therefore important. You can prune the bush in early spring. To keep the bush compact you can prune the dead branches to a healthy side branch. It is a self-pollinating shrub and attracts butterflies and bees. You can place it in the garden, but of course also on a balcony or terrace. It grows in any soil and likes full sun.
