Clematis miss Bateman’ is a large flowers clematis that produces beautiful white flowers and is therefore a real eye-catcher in the garden. This strong variety flowers twice a year. The first flowering is around May-June and the second flowering is between July and September. After the clematis has flowered for the first time, it is best to prune it back so that it will flower again for the second time. Its neat and compact growth makes this climber suitable for both large and small gardens. After a number of years, the clematis will reach a height of around 2 to 3 metres. In order for the clematis to climb better, it needs a little help. The best way is to guide the plant upwards along a rack, wire or stick. The clematis does well in the half-shadow as well as in the sun.
