\n‘Rubus Idaeus Summer Chef’ is a summer raspberry with dark red fruits that ripen in August – September. The raspberries are large in size, nice dark red in colour and have a sweet-sour taste. This raspberry is self-pollinating and flowers in May with inconspicuous, small white-pink flowers that attract bees and bumblebees. After flowering, the raspberries develop. They can be eaten straight from the bush, but you can also make delicious jam and juice from them. Do not leave the ripe fruit hanging on the bush for too long, otherwise they will lose their delicious flavour.
